Once again the holidays are upon us and with the season comes
plans for the annual Holly Day Light Parade and downtown tree
lighting ceremony. Residents and visitors each year look forward
to the warm glow of the large spruce located at the corner of Main
and West St. Clair welcoming them to our downtown. Lit by San-
ta and a well deserving child within our community—this tradition
showcases what living in a rural community is all about. Unfortu-
nately—the tree is in need of trimming and the lighting needs to be
replaced after four years of service. Electrical demands as well as
the toll of wind and rain can no longer guarantee reliable service
and many hours of labor each season are needed to keep it lit.
New LED lighting will reduce electrical usage and expenses and
provide for more reliable use. WE NEED YOUR HELP!
