When Is Chinese Spring Festival?
Spring festival is also known as Chinese New Year.  In 2017 this festival will start on Saturday, January 28th, 2017. This is the most important traditional holiday in China. 

This hongbao envelope template has a Chinese design related to the Rooster and is suitable for gifts during New Year in China. This is a free Chinese lucky money envelope template, which you can download for free. 

2017 will be the year of the Rooster, and therefore we provide this red envelope design with Rooster image. You could touch it up with a gold pen or glitter for a really special look! We know these designs and sizes aren't the same as the traditional hongbao envelopes (which are made entirely out of red paper), but they are suitable as an alternative and easy to cut out and fold. We used fewer colors and only put the design on the front side of the envelope to save on printer ink. Don't forget to include some paper money inside first!
