Navigating the highly competitive coastal tourism market requires more than just a great location; it demands a strategic, data-driven approach to revenue and sales. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales and Marketing (DOSM) to lead this charge.
Reporting directly to the hotel’s General Manager and serving as a key member of the executive committee, you will have overall responsibility for the development and execution of the hotel’s sales and marketing strategy across all revenue-generating areas. If you are an expert at repositioning properties, capturing higher-rated business, and flattening off-peak demand curves, this is your opportunity to build and execute a winning roadmap.
What You Will Do?
Strategic Repositioning: Assess the competitive landscape to reposition the hotel, with success measured by your ability to drive higher-rated business and achieve higher growth in blended ADR and RevPAR.
- Tactical Execution: Create and implement hotel-level tactical sales plans that drive measurable incremental occupancy and increase business volume during off-peak periods.
- Revenue Management: Work collaboratively with the General Manager and Revenue Manager to develop and execute revenue strategies that maximize profitability and yield the Best Available Rates.
- Account Acquisition: Prospect, aggressively solicit, qualify, and close business travel opportunities, while managing Corporate Business Travel Sales across a wide variety of industries.
- Team Leadership: Ensure the sales team is properly deployed, working the correct market segments, and participating in the right trade shows to convert new targets into loyal accounts.
