Advanced Legal Research Memo Assignment

This is a two component research memorandum assignment distributed as the culminating paper for

a 3 credit Advanced Legal Research course. The Research Memo assignment requires students to

document their research process, including a comprehensive list of resources consulted, and then

draft a 3-5 page research memorandum analyzing and applying the law to their factual scenario. The

grading rubrics serve as assessment tools for evaluating and grading the research notes and memos.
