Sample Essay Outline

• The following is a sample essay outline; this is intended to

give you a guide as to what is expected.

• Please contact one of the instructors if you need assis-

tance in clarifying your topic and preparing your outline.

• You may not have ideas as clearly formulated as they (ap-

pear) to be here; that’s fine but you should be working

toward this. This requires a fair bit of work.

• Remember, sooner is better than later.
