QA Inspector, Fort Worth, TX (2000 – 2006) 
Managed all functions and activities within the Quality Assurance Department, maintaining 12 F/A-18 multi-engine 
aircraft. Directed daily execution for 6 aircraft quality assurance managed programs, 36 monitored programs, and 28 
aircraft maintenance inspectors; coordinated technical support tasks. Evaluated training programs, inspected aircraft, 
and interviewed inspectors for qualification and re-certification. Analyzed trends to identify aircraft discrepancies,

  Implemented aggressive FOD control program; purchased new FOD clean-up equipment and analyzed

  Aggressively planned, implemented, and trained 3 teams of technicians through major post-deployment 
corrosion inspection on 12 aircraft, leading to the discovery and documentation of over 3,300 corrosion 
discrepancies, as well as subsequently successful Material Condition inspection. 
 
Airframes Work Center Supervisor, Lemoore, CA (1995 – 2000) 
Oversaw production activities of over 30 team members performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on 
hydraulics, pneumatics, structures, landing gear, and flight controls on 50 Boeing F/A-18 B/C/D aircraft. Coordinated 
all maintenance initiatives within the Airframes Work Center, including planned safety programs, related equipment, 
and assigned work areas.  Evaluated requirements and requested technical assistance from contractor representatives. 
Organized and conducted training; exercised leadership and motivational techniques towards work center personnel. 
KEY CONTRIBUTIONS & ACCOMPLISHMENTS: 
  Reduced average airframe discrepancy count from 7 to 2.5 per aircraft by assigning work center 
inspectors to specific aircraft and holding them accountable for monitoring discrepancies, ordering 
replacement parts, and enabling quick, timely repairs. 
  Generated 40% increase in shop qualifications by implementing work center qualification training 
program; led initial maintenance efforts for VFA-125’s traveling Demonstration Team.
