Dear Sirs,
EASYJET PLC (the "Company")
As you are aware, I have been unhappy for some time with the Company's strategy and the relationship
with Airbus.
I have therefore decided to resign as a director of the Company with immediate effect. I believe this will
give me greater freedom to exercise my rights as a significant shareholder in the Company and seek to
influence a change in that strategy.
Please be advised that easyGroup Holdings Limited's other nominee director, Bob Rothenburg, has also
indicated to me that he intends to resign as a director of the Company with immediate effect.
This resignation is without prejudice to easyGroup Holdings Limited's rights under Article 87 of the
Company's Articles of Association, which it may elect to exercise at a later date.
