Summary of Role: 
We are seeking a part time qualified Lawyer to support and assist the Legal & Compliance 
Manager for 3 days per week with the day to day Legal & Compliance work.

Nicholas Maclean, Managing Director  
 
Primary Location: 
Dubai  
 
Primary responsibilities: 
 
•  Assisting with corporate actions:  trade licenses (renew, solve problems, add/delete 
activities), RERA registration/cancellation, any other corporate actions (change of 
directors/names).  Assist the Secretary of the DIFC (manage proxy, make BOD packs, 
manage applications/notices from the DIFC) 
•  Assist with various legal related HR matters-  fix complications from employee’s exits which 
had legal implications 
•  Assist with reviewing of contracts of business lines 
•  Assist with managing the different legal counsels, PROs, and corporate binders (hold 
company’s original documents) 
•  Be knowledgeable about the jurisdictions and arbitration processes and notaries 
•  Help with team members who want to engage a debt collector or need to take 
legal/arbitration action 
•  Attend monthly CCO calls 
•  Assist with implementation of CBRE compliance policies into the office by setting up 
processes and procedures 
•  Fill out due diligence forms/payment orders for business lines; undergo client required 
training 
•  Assist with the management of the travel insurance policy and PI insurance policy 
•  Assist with the management of Standard Terms of Business and answer all questions about 
them (client inquiries/requests for changes) 
•  Assist with Non Disclosure Agreements 
•  Ensure all employees complete their training 
•  Assist with quarterly reports for EMEA compliance which includes maintaining a list of 
government entities; compile government entity deal files from teams, payroll/supplier 
audits, background checks 
•  Assist with internal file audits 
 
 
Key Skills/Knowledge: 
 
•  Valid UAE driving license required and own car preferred 
• 
Past experience in real estate and understanding of the local market an advantage
