Note: All 12 month employees are required to work November 21 & 22, 2016 and December 19, 2016 in order
to fulfill the 248 work day calendar. You may request in advance the option to use your available vacation or
personal days.
Paraprofessionals work full days on early release days. All Teachers work 8 hours daily. Clerical, Data Entry Clerks, Nurses and
Paraprofessionals work 7 ¼ hrs. Maintenance work 8 hours. Custodians work 4 or 8 hours. Bus Drivers and School Nutrition
Assistants work hours vary. Should you have questions regarding your work hours, please check with your School Administrator.
School hours vary as well. This calendar is subject to change by the Richmond County School System.
