All 6-12 students enrolled in a pathway
school will be tested per state law.
W-APT
W-APT tesng must take place within ten days of the rst day
of school. Students that enroll aer the rst 30 days of school
must be tested within 4 days.
Due to recent legislave changes to the READ Act, ELA-S students are now required to be tested in English at least once per year. Schools have the exibility to test
students at any point during the year. However, the Accountability, Research and Evaluaon (ARE), Curriculum & Instrucon (C&I) and English Language Acquision
(ELA) teams recommend that schools consider the following tesng windows for the addional administraon of the READ Act assessment in English.
Kindergarten: April 7 - May 16
Grades 1-3: November 1 - 28
*These assessments are managed by the Gied and Talented department and are administered to a subset of idened students.
