Dear Ms. Saunders:
As per our telephonic conversation yesterday, I would like to submit my application for the marketing
research position (#031210-528) advertised in the March 12th in California News. With my apprentice
research background, my training in sales and marketing, and my work experience, I consider I could make a
precious contribution to ABC National Bank
in this position.
In May I will complete my B.S. in Marketing with a minor in Sales at Concordia University, CA. As element of
the requirements for this degree, I am mixed up in a senior marketing research project that has given me
knowledge interviewing and review research subjects and assisting with the examination of the data
collected. I also have completed a course in statistical study methods.
My experience also comprises working part-time as a bookkeeper in a small autonomous bookstore with an
yearly budget of about $150,000. Since of the small size of this business, I have been showing to and
participated in the majority aspects of managing a business, together with advertising and marketing. As the
bookkeeper, I created monthly sales reports that allow the owner/buyer to project seasonal inventory needs. I
also assisted with the development of ideas for special promotional events and designed book sales
proceeds after each occasion so as to assess its victory.
I believe my mixture of business experience and BS Degree in Marketing is an outstanding match for the
marketing research position you explained. Enclosed is a copy of my resume with extra information
regarding my qualifications.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing your reply.
Sincerely,
Florence Johnson
