What is the best homework planner? What is a homework planner?

A homework planner is a very effective journal that allows the student to plan and keeps track of their homework assignments. It contains the weekdays (or alternative schooldays) and enough space to write down assignments. It is advised to use it after the student comes home and starts finishing his homework before he or she can do other activities. Also is reminds the student not to put off their schoolwork away every time it is opened. To complete this Homework Planner:

  1. Do you have any daily or weekly activities (lessons, classes, practices, etc…)?  Write these in first. Remember to include travel time, whether you walk or drive.
  2. What time do you eat dinner? Talk to your parent and then write that onto the schedule.
  3. What time do you go to bed?  Talk to your parent and mark this time onto your schedule.
  4. The blocks that are left are your available study times.  Schedule enough time to complete homework, review classwork, and study for tests. Your teacher can give you an idea of how much time to allow for this.

You’ll probably have some open time slots left.  These are your free times. Make sure to use them to play with friends, read for fun, or spend time with your family! Download this Homework Planner template now for your reference.
